Financing

Public Debt Offering - Financial lead on a $550 million bond offering. Validated financial information and supervised process in its entirety.  Served as liaison coordinating all efforts between investment bankers, attorneys, and external auditors.

 

Debt Restructuring $100k - Developed and executed a debt restructuring and reduction plan and disposed of underutilized assets.  Worked with president on securing new funding sources.  The restructuring plan saved $100k annually and relieved cost associated with maintaining underutilized assets.

 

Financial Modeling - Created conditionally formatted financial model for two tier loan facility to forecast and monitor debt covenant compliance.  Model indicated eventual default which initiated securing a waiver and subsequent amendments to the credit agreement(s).

Administrative

Budgeting - Refined budgeting procedures and created a standardized process and related templates to increase accuracy and monitor performance.  New procedures streamlined the budgeting process, increased efficiency, and allowed standardized application across client portfolio.

Legal Entities Streamlined - Company had excess legal entities and was allocating scarce resources to handle administrative requirements. Researched and initiated a successful legal entity consolidation and elimination process which streamlined entities, eliminated redundancy and reduced administrative burden.

 

Software Licensing $250k - Review of software licenses revealed a multitude of different licenses throughout the company form the same vendor.  Directed the combination of various licenses and attained a master corporate license producing savings of $250k.

 

Corporate General Ledger $45k - All general ledger information and data was produced and reviewed by company employees and was then sent offsite to be processed by a third party.  Drove final implementation of software package to replace third party activities producing $45k in savings. Incremental work load on corporate staff was minimal.
